Refurbishment / Retrofit

Between 15 and 20% of Kingspan’s insulated panels are used in refurbishment projects and this is a growing trend.

Refurbishment of buildings provides a huge opportunity for the government to hit the CO₂ reduction targets that have been set. It makes sense that if a building is being refurbished to improve energy efficiency, to take that extra step and reduce your energy requirement further still by adding a solar PV capability, potentially improving the speed of payback on the entire project.
