How the benefits add up
The amount of income generated from the Feed-in Tariff will vary depending on the type and size of renewable energy system installed.
The table, below, illustrates the current rates set by the Government when a solar PV system is installed. An additional payment of 3p per kWh will also be paid for any surplus electricity fed into the National Grid1.
